Wild Roses

This is a similar card to one that was displayed on the boards at the SU Convention this year. I am making up a few for a set for my Mum to give her friends. They all seem to like the flowery ones best.

For the base, I used Naturals Ivory and stamped Sanded background on it with the stamp off of Creamy Caramel ink. This layer is sponged around the edges with Garden Green. The roses are stamped with Regal Rose and Rose Red and the leaves with Certainly Celery and Garden Green.

Yes I know some leaves are flying in mid air - I must make sure not to do that on the next cards!

It is the most beautiful afternoon here today - 24 degrees C, sunny and no wind. It would have been nice to have had more of the lovely rain that much of the southern half of the State got but at least we have no dust for a few days! To think we are three days into our official winter and have this kind of weather - love it!

Jean this is a lovely card & I know how much you love flowers and stamping them might help ease the lack of rain you have been missing out on ... Have a great w/e ... B
