Another Sunnie!

While I am enjoying using these Graphic 45 French Country papers, I made this card using the sketch #94 from Cardabilities. This is such a great sketch and I can think of so many other ideas using it.

Here I have simply cut banners using the paper, added a strip of burlap and made a sunflower out of crinoline using a method that Linda at The Funkie Junkie, showed us! Thank you Linda, as I love them and so simple. I always lose a petal or two though you can't tell! I dyed the crinoline with Stampin' Up! Crushed Curry re inker. The wording is also from Stampin' Up! - Curly Cute.

I used Stampin' Up! Card for the base and layers - they go perfectly with these papers - Early Espresso and Crushed Curry. The leaves were die cut from the back of one of the papers and cut with a Tim Holtz leaf strip die.

Such a pretty card, Jean! Those patterned papers are beautiful, I especially love the green. I really like the way you did your sentiment with the burlap behind it. And your sunflower came out beautiful and looks so pretty with the leaves around it. I always lose a petal or too also, but it doesn't show. That die has one petal with a very thin base that always seems to fall off when you dye the crinoline.

Hugs,
Linda
