Twine!
Here is a very simple card that I have had started for a while. It was a good opportunity to make it up for the 4 Crafty Chicks challenge this week where we had to use twine on our card! This image comes from the SU Seaworthy set and stamped in Early Espresso.
I searched everywhere for instructions for a knot which I have used before for sea themed cards but no way could I find the one I was looking for so just used a very simple one here!
The paper is SU Nautical Expedition DSP and the cardstock is Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White. The wording comes from the set Bring on the Cake. I thought this one went particularly well with the rest of the card.
Here is a photo I took from our back door this afternoon. A doe kangaroo in front with a joey in her pouch and the one behind is her last joey.

What a beauty this card is! Love that wonderful image too. So pretty for either a guy or a girl!
What a cute photo of the kangaroos! The only place I've ever seen one has been in a zoo or on TV!

Excellent card Jean. I love the anchor cut out, it looks so good. I like that font too.
Jean what a fantastic card. I love the colors you chose to use and how you tied the anchor to the twine. Love it. Thank you so much for sharing it with us at 4 Crafty Chicks.
