Staceys Act 65
Another dreary day and another washed out picture. Or maybe it is just me - just not using the right settings.
This card is for Stacey's Curtain Call Colour Challenge Act65. I thought of another flowery card to use these bright cheery colours but opted to use this Penny Black image for a change and I could still use my Copic markers. I am not sure that Kitty's feet should look so sunburnt though.
I used Stampin' Up! DSP from three different packs here - I have so much paper from way way back! One balloon is cut out from a second image and placed with a dimensional.
Stamps: Penny Black, JustRite Stamps
Card: SU Real Red, Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, SU DSP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo black, Copic Markers
Other: Cuttlebug embossing folder, Stampin' Up! circle and star punches, SU Wild Wasabi ribbon, SU Dimensionals

I love this - it cheered me up no end after a particularly gloomy winter's day!
Fabulous design, Jean! You've colored that cute kitten so perfectly, and the patterned papers really add to the fun look. Thanks for playing at the Curtain Call this week!
What a cute little kitten. Great job coloring him! The color challenge looks tough but your card is just wonderful! Thanks for sharing! (I added a flower tutorial on my blog if you're interested - enjoy!)
Hey there! I'm so glad to know that you are OK. With all of the flooding we are seeing here on the TV over in Australia, I've been worrying about my Australian friends. Your card is adorable, and I LOVE the papers you used. And your comment was so cute about sunburned kitty feet. I think they look just fine. Great card! Best, Curt
