Bella Bleu

Today I had a sympathy card to make and I chose to CASE this card of Kathy Jones'. She always does beautiful work and thank you Kathy for the inspiration.

Lots of layers here which I love doing and I used the Stampin' Up! Bella Bleu DSP which is now retired [sob]! To match the paper, I didn't want to use Not Quite Navy as I thought it too dark for this card so went with SU Bordering Blue which is also retired. Guess using these is a way to use them up!

There is a band of black silk ribbon across the middle, the little flowers have a black pearl in the centres and I have punched the leaves with a Martha Stewart punch out of the Bella Bleu paper.

I think I am still coming down to earth after the great few days I had away last weekend at Kim's retreat! The girls at my table were the best company, I learnt a lot and also I managed to finish off quite a few cards! In the raffle I won the Birthday Bakery SU set - very happy! I even managed to finish the make and takes and do one of the challenges. That is GOOD for me!
