Morning Glory

Here we are - back to flowers again! Love these Flourishes images as they give me the chance to colour with my Copic collection! It is so relaxing to just sit and colour and blend but one day I hope to get a hands on lesson on colouring with Copics so I know I am doing it properly!

I did not have the shade of ribbon to match the layer behind it. This ribbon was a real lemon yellow so I coloured it all over with a Copic marker and now it matches perfectly. How easy that was and it dried so fast too as the markers are alcohol based. There are little jewels in the flower centres.

Card: Stampin' Up! Summer Sun, Old Olive, White

Nestabilities, Basic Grey Kioshi paper, Annabelle's Stamps Sprinkles, bling from my stash

I will enter this card in the challenge on Sammi's blog called Colour on Something Other Than Paper.

We are very sad here today as we had to make the decision last night to have one of our furbabies put to sleep. She has been part of our family for over 22 years and is a little Fox Terrier cross [ Tenterfield Terrier]. She started having big fits and it was so distressing for us to watch so helplessly and distressing for her too. She did have a wonderful life as we cared for her like a baby but she gave us so much joy in return. We miss our Tuppy sooo much already.

Jean, I'm so very sorry. Thinking of you. Excellent card and I hope you get to do some lessons with copics one day too. The brief one I had while I was in Brisbane was excellent.

I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your fur-baby. They become such a part of the family that it's always hard to say good-bye.
