Irises this time!

Did not take long did it before I moved back to my flowers again LOL. By using the Iris image, it was a great opportunity too to use my favourite colour. The image is a Flourishes one from the Calendar sets - I stamped with Memento and coloured with my Copic markers.

The DSP is Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue and the background paper actually comes glittered like more of the sheets in the pad. The bling is also Kaisercraft. Cardstock is Stampin' Up! Gable Green and Lavender Lace and the wording is from the SU set Warm Words. All is finished off with a purple bow.

I am thinking of all the people today north of us who endured the felocity of the cyclone which crossed the coast very early this morning. Most lost power due to fallen power lines and I guess it will take quite a while for many thousand people to have power restored again.

I too have been thinking of my northern friends...Mother Nature sure has been fickle lately!
