Sitting pretty!

I won some blog candy from Kristie Morrison and included in the huge package of goodies, were some Magnolia images. Thank you so much Kristie for everything - it was quite exciting to win something for a change!

So here is the first of the images that I have coloured in. I used SU watercolour crayons and I must say I am not good at using them efficiently. The SU polka dot background was used on the pink oval and both ovals were cut out using my Nesties.

The little wording comes from the set Pocket Silhouettes and the flowers were just out of my big flower stash! The main colours used here were Old Olive, Pink Pirouette and Close to Cocoa. I apologise for the photo quality! Since moving, I haven't worked on the best position in which to take card photos yet!

I have to say I was very tempted to draw in a nice smiley mouth on her but thought that might get me into trouble LOL.

Oh I'm sooo glad you didn't draw a smile on her!! I tried once and she just doesn't look right with a mouth!! Of course that could have been my drawing skills, that's why I stamp - LOL.
Love your colours and layout, and this is one of my favourite Tilda's - gorgeous job with her.

I've thought about drawing a mouth on her too, but my drawing skills are non-existent...I suspect it would look odd anyways. You'll get used to the fact she has no mouth...it's good, because it's one less thing to worry about colouring in! Speaking of colouring...you did a FANTASTIC JOB!
I think your card looks gorgeous and I am so glad that you are having fun with all the goodies...there's nothing more fun than blog candy :)

This is a beautiful card, Jean, and you did a wonderful job coloring Tilda. Those colors are so pretty together. In case you didn't catch the story, Magnolias don't have mouths because "they speak with their hearts." That's the story I heard so that's the explanation I use. Adorable card, TFS!
