Pink and Orange?? Yikes!

Shock and horror!! I am actually voluntarily using these colours together. Can't say I am too fussed on the combo yet but I do love the Sweet Always DSP pack and especially this lovely stripe.

For the rose I have used the watercolour method of doing them. Here is one blog where there is a video tutorial but I have seen this method used on many many cards since. Thank you Patty for sharing this technique. I just used Whisper White card though instead of the shimmer card. It worked OK - just had to make sure I had it really wet before adding the colour. I just adore the Fifth Avenue Floral set and even on the insert of this card, I have stamped the flowers from the set - looks so nice.

For the white background piece, I ran it through the Big Shot using the Cuttlebug embossing folder Forest Branches.

Stampin' Up! colours used here are Pumpkin Pie, Regal Rose, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip.
