Ocean Commotion

Well what a contrast this card is compared to the one I last posted! I am trying to make cards up with my newly acquired sets so this is my first using the Stampin' Up! Ocean Commotion set which is in our newest Mini catalogue.

The seaweed and the fish are two of the stamps from the set - the other two stamps are a little seahorse and a shell. I have stamped and embossed the seaweed with silver EP on to silver card and then brayered over. The fish have been stamped and embossed in silver on to card and then some stripes have been coloured in. The "bubbles" are simply dots of Crystal Effects.

Card: Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, brushed Silver
Ink: Garden Green, Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquoise, Silver Encore
Stamps: Ocean Commotion, Lots of Thoughts

If anyone would like a copy of the newest Mini catalogue, please email me - I can order from it for you from the 1st December! There are some beautiful patterned paper packs, rubons and stamp sets etc.

Hi jean - well this was certainly worth the wait to see! Just love it! What a cool idea to use crystal effects for the bubbles - I would never have thought of that!

I have had a good look through your Blog & I have to say that you are so very talented. This card in particular is so clever. Love the way you have coloured in the fish. Makes them look so real. I'll be back often!
