Trifold card

This week's technique on Splitcoaststampers group was this tri-fold card so I had to give it a go!

It is really very simple and I changed a few bits around - for instance, I dont have the band going right around the card as Beate has done. It was fun to use the new Stampin' Up! corner rounder punch for the scalloped edge too - I really like this shape way better than the last one.

Love love the star punches too as you probably have gathered by now LOL. AND that new double stitched in colour ribbon - yum!!! Can you see the little man in the stars?? That is my little grandson who will be one very soon LOL!!!

Card: Brilliant Blue, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie and DS Designer paper Jersey Shore [love it!]
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Brilliant Blue
Stamps: All In The Family, Nursery Necessities and Its Your Birthday - [wording]
Punches: 3/4 inch circle punch
1/4 square punch
corner rounder punch
large and small star punches

I have some new Stampin' Up! catalogues left if anyone would like me to send them one - they are $10 plus postage!!

THAT paper!!

This double pocket card was made by using just one piece of A4 paper and although it is very quick and easy to make, I won't be making any more with using my lovely Stampin' Up! paper or there won't be any left for other projects LOL!!

The idea for this card comes from Pat of Technique Junkies of which I am a subscriber.

This paper comes from the SU Holiday Thyme Designer Series Double sided paper which is the special promotion for this month at the price of $14.95. If you wish to order any, there are only a few days left to do so!! It is a beautiful pack and the paper co-ordinates with the following Stampin' Up! colours:

Bashful Blue, Bravo Burgundy, Cranberry Crisp, Old Olive, True Thyme, Very Vanilla

Card: Cranberry Crisp, Old Olive, Always Artichoke

Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Riveting, Scribble This, All Year Cheer I

Ink: Always Artichoke, Old Olive, Bravo Burgundy

Criss Cross card

I have been seeing lots of these Criss Cross cards both on SCS and on blogs. I made a few boo boos with this one through not thinking but really they are simple to make up.

Isnt the Stampin' Up! tab punch just great for so many things?

Card: Stampin'Up! Brocade Blue, Chocolate Chip and Spring Showers Double Sided DP
Ink: Colorbox Chalk Chestnut Roan, Stampin' Up! Summer Sun and Brocade Blue
Stamps: Stampin' Up! Its Your Birthday, Looks Like Spring
Stampin' Up! Spring Bouquet Flower punch and Round Tab Punch

A New Little Someone

I eventually have this pocket baby card finished - too many interruptions! It is much nicer IRL! Looks a bit wishy washy here.
I have used a punched circle and the window word punch to make the tab for the insert which has the wording from the stamp set stamped on it. The rattle hangs freely from the gold cord.
All supplies from Stampin' Up! except for the Cuttlebug embossing folder used for the blue strip.
Stamps: A New Little Someone, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Card: So Saffron, Ballet Blue, Whisper White and watercolour paper.
Inks: Summer Sun, Close to Cocoa, Ballet Blue, Creamy Caramel

Recipe Card

I have not had time to stamp since coming home - very sad! But here is a so called recipe card which I made a few weeks ago. It is simply a pocket card and you can put whatever you like on the insert tag!

Stampin' Up! Stamp sets - Looks Like Spring and All Year Cheer I

Stampin' Up! punch - Spring Bouquet Flower for the flowers. This is a great punch as it has the three different flowers on the one punch!
