Sam's challenge

Yesterday as I was making a Get Well card, I was looking at Sam's colour challenge and as I was already using a couple of the colours, I decided to try the challenge. Bad mistake I think as I found it soo hard to use all those colours together. I think I was tested because there were no green or brown shades. Anyway a challenge is not called a challenge for nothing!!


Sam's colours were Perfect Plum, Rose Red, Soft Sky, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White. The bird is embossed in white on Perfect Plum and the Perfect Plum layer has been run through the crimper and then flattened out again just to give it a bit of texture.


My Get Well type of stamp is very limited so I had to use this one from the set Fun and Fast Notes. Hope the card can help to cheer up a day for a sick one and hope Sam, that you like it too!

My twentieth card!

My twentieth of the pink cards I mean! I have twenty-five made now and am kind of getting fed up of the colour pink but all for a good cause.
This one uses a retired Stampin' Up! set Delight in Life - just another of my flower sets LOL.

I give credit for the design to Kimm Bennington-Thompson - I thought it was a very pretty idea.

Bodacious Bouquet

I have made this card for a lady who at this time needs some cheering up so I hope it helps to brighten her day!
This lacing idea came from a card I saw belonging to Moonlight Inker so thank you so much Sophie for the idea.

All supplies used by Stampin' Up! except for scalloped scissors for the edging.

The lavender layer has actually been stamped with the Paisley background but you cannot see it in the picture.
