I have only made a few cards in the last couple of months as it has been harvesting time here and the days just flew! Now I have started doing the Project Life style of scrapbooking hoping that I might get some of my thousands of photos into albums. It is fun and a quick way of displaying them and now that Stampin' Up! is bringing out a range of Project Life items, I have more excuse to get into it! It will be really good as the SU colours on the cards and accessories will all match their markers, cardstock etc.
Now back to the card I am showing today. I have not long received this beautiful paper collection from Maja Design called Coffee in the Arbour. I have used four of the patterns plus the image here. The base card is SU Naturals White and the next layer is Rich Razzleberry.
The frame is cut with a Marianne Die and I had to put the image on top as it does not cut out the centre. I am still looking for nice dies that actually die cut out to a frame with an open centre. I have added some Frantage to the image. It is hard to see but the little bird has crackle paint on him and is perched on a "coral" die cut.
The butterflies are cut out from the same DSP and I used Kaisercraft Pearls to finish off.

This is beautiful Jean. Love the colors !!! I have been wanting to jump into the Project Life scrapbooking style too and have some of the tools to get started, but I just need to do it :) Hope all is well.
Jean, you've made a gorgeous card. I love the frantage work. Fabulous that you used the coral die in your floral arrangement. The little bird is so cute with his crackle paint feathers. I am sure this card will be one of the first to sell.
