Inspiration for this card came from a card by Darsie which you can see here. As I owned the DSP, I thought making a baby card was a great way of using it. Thank you Darsie!
The image was lightly coloured with Copic markers and cut out as I wanted to emboss the background. Now I should make a card for a baby girl in a similar way.
Stamps: Stampin' Up! Bringing Baby, Crafters Companion [wording]
Card: Linen white for the base, SU Whisper White, Authentique Journey DSP, the blue is from my stash
Ink: Memento black, SU Tempting Turquoise, Copic Markers
Other: SU grosgrain ribbon, SU pearls, charm and twine from my stash. Nestabilities Fleur de Lis rectangles, Cuttlebug embossing folder

Wow - this is just so beautiful Jean! Love everything about it.
I have a blog award for you over at my blog at this link here: http://instead-of-ironing.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-award-from-roxy.html It was given to me by Roxy and now I am passing it onto you.
Please don't feel obliged to pass it on if you don't wish to - pls just accept the blog award anyway and display on your blog sidebar if you want to. And know how much I have appreciated your support and encouraging comments since I started blogging 2 years ago :-)
