SSC22

Here is another challenge entry - this time for the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #22. I think this is a great sketch. Thank you Chupa!!!

My base card is retired SU Sage Shadow - oh how I love this colour and of course you don't see it here but it matches nicely with some of this paper which is Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden. The brown strips are SU Soft Suede and I used the SU scallop edge punch for the piece across the bottom.

The lacy border is a Spellbinders die called Parisian Accents and it is SU Blush Blossom card - another beautiful retired colour which goes so well with this paper. The sentiment is from Flourishes and stamped in Soft Suede on a frame stamped in SU Sage Shadow on SU Very Vanilla, then cut out with a Nestabilities die.

To finish off, I put a Prima flower on a seam binding bow and added some SU pearls and a wee bit of SU Dazzling Diamonds.

All that soft pink with the brown accents is so beautiful, and I love the way you framed the designer paper. Your crinkly bow is perfect perched up there in the corner. I peeked in at a few of your other cards...fabulous! Thanks for following my blog! I'm following you, now, too :D
