I am around!

I have had a few of my blog followers ask me if I was OK so thought it better to put on a post to explain that yes I am fine. Anyway I am sure everyone is sick of seeing the mice by now!

My youngest brother [46] had a very bad fall from a horse on the 16th April and has been in a coma ever since. The doctors thought that he had had a massive stroke but are now leaning more towards thinking he had an aneurism set off by the fall. That of course then caused the stroke. He is now out of Intensive Care and in a high care Neuro ward and we hear of tiny things he is doing that really excite us. He has moved his arm and head and we just wait patiently each day to hear of any further little progress. He has a very long way to go but I remain optimistic that he will fight back - he is young and fit and loves life! And also he has a very loving family to help pull him through. We just don't know the full extent of his brain injuries as yet until he has an MRI.

I have been with my Mum for the last two weeks - she is 84 and lives on her own so it has been a very worrying time for her. I have come home again and right now am making her a Mother's Day card. It will be late but she will not mind. Just got to get my head around happy thoughts again.

Thank you to the girls who were concerned about me. I really appreciate your thoughts.
