Pink Tilda

I just felt like doing some colouring and the Magnolia images are just perfect for practising on. This is one I received from Kristie Morrison in some blog candy! Thank you Kristie! It is stamped on watercolour paper so I have used Distress Inks and a blender pen to colour it. It is really enjoyable to just sit and fiddle with shading though I have lots of practice to go yet before I am happy with it.

I have used some retired Stampin' Up! DSP for the layering and the base card is SU Regal Rose. The flowers came as part of a little gift from an online shop and the pearls are from Kaisercraft.

The rain has eased for now - just an occasional shower and then the sun is out again. We have had 231 mls in the last ten days [over nine inches]- just beautiful perfect rain but the ground is saturated now and the water is running away - would love some other dry parts of the State to receive some of it.

Jean,

thanks for the visits and kind comments.....I used a friends BG paper on my card, I wasn't sure of the name that's why I did not put it in the post. I tried to put as many details as possible, anyway I think it was called Ambrosia...hth...Happy New Year to you and blessings in 2010!

enjoy *~*
