House Mouse Challenge #53

I am so enjoying colouring these images with my Copic Markers - even if the shading is not the best to look at LOL. This week the House Mouse challenge was to use buttons on our project and I have used this sketch.

The purple layer is Bazzill, the patterned scalloped circles are from a great little paper pad from Sizzix and called Little Sizzles Country. I have had it for a very long time and maybe it is outdated now but I still love the papers in it.

The image is called Lucky Day and as I mentioned, I coloured it with Copics after stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black. The wording is from Stampin' Up! as are the buttons [now retired]. The large circle has been punched with a Marvy punch and the small with the SU scallop punch.

Purple is one of my favourite colours but it seems I don't use it all that much - have no idea why as the shades look so pretty on this card.

I am so feeling for the poor Samoan people today - those tsunamis would be just so terrifying with the fear of the unknown as to how long they are going to last etc. I really wish I could be there to help.

Hey Jean. I love this card and the colors are stunning. Your coloring is as always - AMAZING. Love the colors. I'm also so excited to see that the house is going great and can't wait to see your craft room.

Yes, my thoughts and prayers are going out to the residents of Samoa and Indonesia as well - as Debbie states, nature can be so cruel.

Hugs ~~

What the heck are you talking about???? Your coloring is fabulous! I have tried to use Copics and there is no way that I could use them and went back to my colored pencils. So your coloring is so impressive to me! Great job! Best, Curt
