A swap card

I was bagging up some of my swap cards this morning whilst having a cuppa so thought I would show one of the designs I have done. This one probably looks the simplest of them and it has no embellishments but it did take a little while to do - the paper piercing takes a while [I did twenty of this design]

Here I used the bleach technique on the flowers and IRL, they do tend to look 3D. The colours used were More Mustard, Baja Breeze and Perfect Plum and the wording and the sanded background has been stamped with Chocolate Chip.

The Upsy Daisy set is such a nice one and there are heaps of ways to use those flowers.

Not sure I will get to post much for the next week as I am off to SU convention on Wednesday. Have so much to do before then including finishing off some more swap cards.

We are having a new home built too so busy with organising plans for that. I will probably be posting progress piccies of the house as it gets built. Most important part was to have a nice sized craft room - then another headache will be planning out that room.!! First things first though!

Thanks for the reminder of how neat bleach is! I haven't used that technique in ages... Lucky you headed off to convention. I hope you'll post all about it :-) Oh, and congrats on the new house. I remember you mentioning wanting to sell your ranch. So exciting! ~Kristin
