Kristina's challenge #37

I thought I would have a go at this one before I go shopping. Just letting the road dry a little. We had more nice rain last night - hard to believe it is so wet this January - more often than not this month is dreadfully hot and dry for us.

These colours for Kristina's challenge this week are lovely and I didn't find it hard at all to think of something to do. This little owl is the cutest!

Stamps: SU Its your Birthday, Polka Dot and Hero Arts clear stamp set
Ink: Versamark, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive
Card: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie. Old Olive DSP
SU flower from the Pretties kit, Pumpkin Pie and white grosgrain ribbon
Gel pen and Kaisercraft pearl bling

Hi Jean

Beautiful card and I love the colour combinations.

Are you joking about hot and dry! The five years we have been here we've had 2 extremely wet Januarys. Last year (of course the floods) and the first January we were here in 2004. Mum & Dad couldn't get home for a few days after a visit. I'm just hoping this year is not another wet January with how full that dam is!

I definately would not have come up with this color combo on my own, but it turns out really nice. I like the touch of ribbon on the bottom.
