My little boys!

Here is a page that I made up before I went away. These are two of my four little grand boys!! No journalling done yet - I always hold back on that! This is a 6 inch by 6 inch page and I find these a challenge as I always feel there is no room to add things once the photo is on.

I stamped the figures from SU All in the Family, coloured them and cut them out. For the background, I used the SU Stampin' Around Wheel Classic Stars. The word Mates are simply die cut letters which looked dreadfully plain until I decided to stamp them with the SU Canvas background stamp. That made such a difference to them.

As you can see, I am not making many Christmas cards or projects. My heart is not in the Christmas spirit at all this year - the time has gone way too fast and all has caught up with me. I am enjoying seeing all that others are doing though.

The temperature is climbing fast today - 38C is forecast and I think we will get to it as there is full sun and no breeze! Yuck!

The all in the Family stamp set should be on its way to me any day now, so for me, it was perfect timing for you to post this layout. Thank you. I really intend to get a few layouts done in the next few weeks. This time of year seems to bring with it so many (too many, perhaps - ha ha) photo opportunities. As for your layout - just too cute! Lovely littlies.
Regards, Andrea.

So adorable! I'm always challenged on 6x6 pages as well. To find the balance between enough embellishments so it doesn't look plain, and too many so that it ends up looking cluttered, is hard! You did it beautifully though :-)

Wow Jean,
Too adorable! The page and the boys. You did a great job.

I bought some shortbread from Woolworths the other day which made me think of you with your shortbread recipe last year. This shortbread was pistachio and cranberry from the bakery section and was beautiful!

Anyway keep the great work coming, Icheck your blog everyday for updates.
Cheers,
Kristy
