Home again!
It is really good to be home again after nine days of quite a stressful time. Lovely rain while I was away and it is actually green around here for a change for this time of year. Plenty of time though yet to get frosts and brown all the grass off again! At least no dust for a little while!
This card was made for a lady in the US who is not well so I hope it cheers her up somewhat. There are several similar cards out there but the Stampin' Up! Baroque Motifs set is so versatile and always makes up a lovely card I think.
I totally missed out on Kristina's colour inspiration challenge last time but I love the colours she had for it and used the same for this card. One of the big flowers is raised on Dimensionals and little rhinestones have been glued in the centre of each flower. Under the scalloped edge is a strip of Sage Shadow card which has been stamped with the Paisley background - bit hard to see in this dreadful photo.
It will be good to get back to some form of normality now and be able to enjoy the card making again - hmmmm wonder for how long? Hope to find time today to go see some of the beautiful cards etc that people have made using Kristina's challenge colours!
Colours used for this card are Rose Red, Regal Rose, Sage Shadow and Whisper White.
