A purse card

This one is for a very special friend's birthday - I hope she likes it. The idea came from Virginia's website where she has two very pretty cards and describes how she made hers. Thank you Virginia for the idea!

I have used Stampin' Up East Coast Prep DS paper, Groovy Guava and Soft Sky for the base and corrugated pieces. SU Paisley is used for the background and the word comes from the set Wonderful Words.

The fabric flowers are non SU but I have punched the centre flower using the SU Spring Bouquet punch and a rhinestone brad keeps it together. The large flower was stamped with the Polka Dot background stamp.

Isnt this the cutest idea for a card? So there you go Karen - you and I were using the same paper and card on the one day but our finished cards are totally different!

Today I received my free Spring Mini SU catalogue - ohhhh there are some lovely things in there that one just must have. Beautiful sets [ including Christmas ones], papers to match, rubons, wide satin ribbon, wheels and even a punch! Customers can buy from this one from the 1st August and can order right up until 30th November so that is great.
