Pink again!!

Well the workshop on Saturday was great!! Just four of us there and the girls all made four cards each which was a very good effort as two of them were beginners. We sure had a stamping time though - we kept going for six hours with just a break for a drink and a pink Tim Tam LOL! They each have a catalogue now to look through at their leisure and I think they would like to do this all again!. I had an hour's drive home so it was 9pm before I got back!

I wanted to make a card using this flower before the weekend and time was at a premium so used the design from the cover of a US mini catty. It is such a good way to use up scraps of pretty paper.

The flower is one of stamps in a set that is in the next mini catty. You can order from it any time after the first of November. The set is called Big Blooms.

I stamped the flower in versamark on to pink card and then clear embossed it and cut it out. I then stamped and embossed it again on to yellow card, just cut out the inner circle and then glued it on to the pink flower. Then stamped on the back of the DS paper and cut out the centre and glued that on.

After tying the ribon on the wire stem, I used a glue dot to hold it in place.

Card: Stampin' Up! Barely Banana, Tempting Turquoise, Pretty In Pink, DS paper Petals and Paisleys

Ink: Versamark, Black

Stamps: Big Blooms, Warm Words
