A contrast!

Well here is a total contrast to the cards I have been making over the last few weeks!! I couldn't find my Oriental stamps today and when I did eventually find them, I decided to make a card using this horse stamp from Onyxxpressions.

I stamped and embossed the horse in white on Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip card and then layered that on to Close to Cocoa card which had been run through the Big Shot with a Fiskars texture plate and then inked DTP with Colorbox Chalk Chestnut Roan.
The mustard layer has been stamped with an Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp.

The wording comes from the Stampin' Up! set Warmest Regards

Sandie, if you read this, thank you for your kind comments and to answer your question, a scrapping store The Scrappers Stash in Queensland has conducted a Pink Card Drive. We send all the cards to them and they distribute them to the Cancer Fund to be given out to people having treatment for breast cancer.

Jean Wooh what a great card ... so different to your 'all pink' ones you have been so busy doing. Has a real masculine feeling and love the jute/string touch you have added ... had better get my skates on and do something with my blog now ... luv ... B

Thanks for answering my question. I thought that you were making them to give away for a good cause. I am sure they will be well used.

A few years ago someone on one of the groups I am on asked for cards for this cause (quite a few years ago) but not necessarily made in pink so this was why I asked.

Love the look of the brown card and the use of string. I can never understand ribbon being used on male cards personally but string seems so much more approriate. To each their own I guess - that's what makes us and our cards so different.
