For my Dad!

I couldn't think what to do for my Father's Day card until I was inspired by a card of Sophie's! Thank you very much Sophie for the stitching idea. I wanted to make a life buoy too but mine looked dreadful so binned it!! Oh BTW Sophie, thank you for your kind comments and that Stampin' Up! baby set is current in our Aussie catalogue - makes it most confusing doesnt it!!

For the background, I used the jumbo SU Rough Around the Edges Wheel with Night Of Navy ink and the stitching is done using embroidery thread. The word Dad is made using the Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet.

Stamps: SU Coast to Coast [retired], Riveting
Card: Night of Navy, Bordering Blue, Real Red, Close to Cocoa and Whisper White
Ink: Night of Navy, Real Red, black

Myyy Jean Dad should be thrilled with that ... doesn't that Rough around the edges wheel make a great b/g and the crosstitching really sets it all off ... you are such a clever girl... luv ... B

Such a nice card. I used to live on Prince Edward Island, and it has many lighthouses. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such kind comments. Call me blind -- I can't find your waterfall card. Could you point it out for me?

Hugs,

Beth
